  • California Proposition 65 “Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act” was updated in 2016 with new regulations and a phase-in period expiring August 31, 2018. The law addresses chemicals known to the State of California to have the potential to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
  • NTI Boilers uses warning labels on all affected products regardless of ship-to destination versus limiting to just California ship-to locations because of the ease users can obtain products from sources outside of California. Manufacturers have primary responsibility for compliance regardless of where products are purchased from.
